Keen British travelers on a budget, take note: the two cheapest dates to book Airbnb family getaways at home and abroad have been revealed.
New Airbnb Data has revealed that October 20 is the cheapest day to book a family holiday for this year or next (departing on any date), and November 4 is the cheapest day to book a family holiday in the foreign.
Data shows that for families booking trips in winter 2023, October 18, 19 and 20 were among the five cheapest days to book, suggesting families looking to score a bargain should book within of this period this year.
Airbnb’s Northern Europe general manager and mother of two, Amanda Cupples, says: “Budget is a top priority for parents, with more than a third (38 percent) admitting it is their top concern when it comes to “It’s time to plan a trip.”
And booking on a certain date isn’t the only way to save money, he reveals.

The manager continues: “Thousands of hosts in the UK offer permanent last-minute discounts on stays and guests can also manage their budgets with the Pay in Installment feature.”
Amanda also shares some smart ways to make vacation planning easier, like using family-focused search tricks to find the best property for your needs.
She says: ‘To help you find peace of mind when venturing to new destinations, search the listing reviews for keywords like “family” and “kids” by clicking “find reviews” to get an idea of what other parents are saying about it. .
“Filtering accommodation searches by amenities like high chairs, cribs and washing machines will also help narrow down more than eight million listings to find the perfect home away from home.”
