Revealed: the constellations that are likely to win the lottery – and it’s good news for Pisces
- Lottery data shows that Pisces won the most Division 1 prizes in 2019
- Geminis, Maagden and Aquariuses were second, third and fourth respectively
- Sagittariuses were, according to the data, the least likely to win the lottery
Pisces were the happiest people last year with more lottery winnings than any other zodiac sign.
The Lott data shows which constellation won the most divisional prizes in 2019.
Those born between February 19 and March 20 won 11.6 percent of all top lottery prizes.

Number of winners of division one 2019 per zodiac sign
Not far behind Pisces were Gemini players who won 9.9 percent of division one. Virgo followed closely with 8.9 percent and Aquarius with 8.5 percent.
Only 6 percent of Division 1 winners were Sagittarians, making them the unhappiest constellation.
Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said it would be interesting to see if these winning trends continue for the different constellations.
“Pisces are generally considered generous and empathetic in nature, with a deep sense of kindness and compassion,” she explained.
“It would be interesting to know if these traits exceeded their prize draws and shared their prizes with their loved ones.
“We often hear from our Saturday Lotto Division one winners that the people they think about first after hearing the life-changing news are their family and friends.”
While the stars can tell us our past and possibly our future, some Australians used ‘warm’ and ‘cold’ numbers to choose their millions last year.
Mrs. Cooney weighed Powerball’s random game of chance last September.
“There are some songs that we’ve pulled out more often than others,” Mrs. Cooney said.
“Players who want to try their hand at choosing their numbers can mark” hot “numbers in the hope that they will live up to their reputation of being drawn more often.”
The main vessel draws seven winning numbers out of 35 to choose the winners, with 17 the ‘hot’ number after being drawn 23 times within a period of sixteen months.
And for ‘cold’ numbers that would be less likely to see the daylight of the main vessel, the number 12 proved to be the least likely, while individual Powerball barrels in the same period showed three, 13 and 18 the most ‘hot’ ones.
‘Hot’ and ‘cold’ figures were used in 2019 to predict Powerball head draws
At the same time there is one Powerball number that has never been drawn in the last 16 months from September 2019 – the number one.
There were only two division two winning entries that were one number lower than winning the one jackpot division.
Both division two winners only missed the Powerball.
