The abrupt manner in which Luke Littler split from his girlfriend Eloise Milburn has been revealed.
After it was revealed the couple had split earlier this week, Littler took to social media to ask fans to give the couple some time and urged trolls to leave Milburn alone.
“Everyone needs to stop sending hate towards Eloise saying it’s her fault this and that,” Littler wrote on her Instagram Story.
“I myself have separated from Eloise and everyone just needs to give us some time, there’s no need for everyone to message her and bother her.”
The 17-year-old is said to have been “very upset” by the situation, as their budding romance came to fruition after ten months together.

Milburn, 21, was a constant presence in the audience as Littler catapulted to stardom this year.
But the couple has since split, with Littler reportedly breaking the news via text message.
However, according to a report by SunLittler’s decision to split from the 21-year-old Avon sales rep came “totally out of the blue” and Littler is said to have broken the news via text message.
“They had been talking the night before and then he texted her the next day telling her it was over,” a source close to Milburn told the publication.
“She’s devastated, she didn’t see it coming. They were getting along well and he left her, all of a sudden.
“Of course he dumped her via text message. He’s a teenager! They do everything on their phones these days.
“I’m sure they’ll remain friends, but things are very delicate at the moment.”
Milburn had been a constant presence at Littler’s side as he embarked on a sensational run to the final of the PDC World Darts Championship earlier this year.
Entering the tournament outside the top 100, Littler defeated the likes of Brendan Dolan, Raymond van Barneveld and Rob Cross before being overtaken by Luke Humphries in January.
The couple began dating just weeks before the tournament began and recently shared a holiday in New York alongside fellow darts stars and Littler’s parents, Lisa and Anthony.
A source close to the family told the newspaper that Milburn was “devastated” by the news.
The couple are said to plan to remain friends despite the abrupt end of their relationship.
Milburn, who plays darts at amateur level, was a keen follower of her partner’s career and Littler would often approach her for a kiss after her victories at the tournament.
However, the couple also faced criticism over the age difference between them and Littler later revealed that he had hired someone to manage his Instagram account who deletes such comments before he can see them.
