Big Brother star Skye Wheatley is set to enter the South African jungle in the next season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Daily Mail Australia can reveal the 29-year-old influencer accidentally let slip that she was unable to attend an event because she had to film overseas.
“Skye told my PR friend that she couldn’t attend their party because she was going to South Africa to film a TV show,” a source revealed on Thursday.
Skye reportedly flew out earlier this week and her partner Lachlan Waugh also struggled to keep it a secret, telling a cleaner she was abroad.
Since then, Skye has been sharing photos of herself soaking up the sun on a “girls trip” by a resort-style pool.

This isn’t the first time Wheatley Channel 10 has contacted the influencer about appearing on the series.
In April last year, Skye revealed she underwent a jaw-dropping audition for the popular reality show.
At the time, she said her audition involved having bugs thrown all over her head while suspended in a cage suspended above the jungle.

Skye’s supporters are also convinced she was heading into the jungle.
The blonde made the surprising admission while congratulating Domenica Carlarco, after the Married on Sight “bride” announced she was heading to the jungle.
“Hahahaha dead,” Skye posted on Dom’s Instagram.
“I did the trial version of it and they put me in a fucking tank suspended above the jungle and dropped bugs over my head.”

“And I’m telling you, I couldn’t get through this,” Skye exclaimed, “I thought everything would be okay…I WON’T.”
Skye finished by wishing Dom good luck.
Rising to fame on Big Brother in 2014, Skye now lives in Queensland with her partner Lachlan Waugh and their two sons, Forest, three, and Bear, one.
Now a full-time influencer with 634,000 followers, Skye is known for enjoying life’s luxuries.
The Gold Coast-based influencer, who was not part of the cast this season, said she found her dry spell on the Channel 10 reality show quite difficult (pictured).
