Jennifer Lopez won’t be officially single for some time, but one high-profile star is reportedly already hoping for a chance to date the pop singer and actress.
Jennifer shocked fans on Tuesday when she filed for divorce from husband Ben Affleck just over two years after they tied the knot, according to documents obtained by DailyMail.com.
But as she seeks to legally end her union with Ben after months of pretending a healthy marriage despite already being separated, an ex-lover is reportedly hoping she will give him another chance.
Chart-topping rapper Drake, 37, is looking forward to having a chance at love with Jennifer, a source said. In touch last month.
“Of course Drake is not going to have a relationship with her while she is still married,” the source clarified.

Instead, they said the singer would wait for the divorce proceedings to be resolved before making his decision.
“I would never cross that line. But once things with Ben Affleck are officially over, he’ll be ready and waiting to show her a good time.”
Drake and JLo were briefly together in 2016, and he reportedly thinks the fact that the relationship hasn’t progressed much could be a factor in his favor.
“Jennifer has always been one of Drake’s biggest loves and he says what they shared all those years ago was amazing,” the source explained. “He never pushed for more, but everyone knows he would have loved to date her seriously.”
They also claimed that Jennifer still “knows (Drake is) an option” as the Hotline Bling rapper has “dropped enough hints” to friends and influencers since their split.
