Immediately after winning the green jacket for the second time, world No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler was seen at a dive bar in Dallas celebrating his victory.
Scheffler hopped on a private jet to return to his native Texas, just after promising his wife Meredith that he would be there as soon as he could.
Now, it’s unclear if Scottie made a quick stop at home before heading out to celebrate, but there are several photos of him at this bar that circulated on social media.
That included photos of him wearing the iconic green jacket while standing with several people at Inwood Tavern.
As DailyMail.com reported, after winning, Scheffler briefly FaceTimed with Meredith, who was watching in Dallas, and will take a private jet to Texas from the nearby airport for an evening meeting.

Scheffler boarded a private plane back to Dallas from Augusta, but stopped at a bar.
He promised his wife, Meredith, who is about to give birth, that he would come straight home.

But Scottie either took a detour on his way home or decided to spend a night without celebration after visiting his wife.
Meredith is just days away from giving birth to Scheffler’s first child, a prospect that had Scottie on the verge of abandoning the Masters altogether.
He repeatedly said he would quit the tournament, even if he was in the lead, if Meredith went into labor.
Fortunately, that never happened and Scottie won his second major tournament and collected the more than $3 million cash prize that came with it.
