After three years at Liverpool FC, there are rumors of Thiago’s spectacular return to his former club – but not to Bayern Munich.
Instead, FC Barcelona should deal with the now 31-year-old playmaker. According to “AS”, Thiago is on a five-name list of candidates from Barca coach Xavi with possible reinforcements for the upcoming summer transfer period.
In addition to Thiago, who switched from his training club to FC Bayern for 25 million euros in 2013 and had celebrated numerous successes there, Dani Olmo (RB Leipzig), Xavi Simons (PSV Eindhoven), Arnau Martínez (FC Girona) and the former BVB are also said to be there -Pro Sergio Gomez (Manchester City) play a role in Xavi’s plans.
However, Thiago is described as the “ideal” solution in the Spanish newspaper because of his experience and his Barca-influenced style of play.
Although his contract does not expire until 2024, there has recently been speculation that Liverpool is about to leave.
