House Republicans are inviting Hunter Biden and several of his former business associates to testify at the same impeachment hearing that will stage a public spectacle later this month.
Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., sent invitations to Hunter, Devon Archer, Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis, who is currently incarcerated in Alabama.
Bobulinski, Archer, and Galanis have essentially turned against Hunter and are unlikely to appear together. Galanis is currently in prison for defrauding a Native American tribe, so it’s unclear how she might appear.
The four men have already given transcribed interviews to Congress where members investigated them about Hunter and Joe’s alleged influence peddling.
Comer says the packed audience would allow Americans to hear about Joe Biden’s “involvement” in his family’s “domestic and international businesses.”
He would also “examine the inconsistencies” between the testimonies of the four witnesses behind closed doors to “know the truth.”
It is highly unlikely that all witnesses will agree to appear together or in public.

During Hunter’s private deposition, he insisted that his father made no profit from his businesses and that he earned them all on his own merit, not because of his last name.
Attorney Abbe Lowell apparently declined an offer of a public hearing at the conclusion of the president’s son’s closed-door deposition last week.
Hunter had previously called for a public hearing, but his attorney, Abbe Lowell, apparently rejected that offer at the conclusion of the president’s son’s closed-door deposition last week.
During his private statement, he insisted that his father made no profit from his businesses and that he earned them all on his own merit, not because of his surname.
However, Comer insisted that, given Hunter’s “repeated calls” for a public hearing, he fully expects him to appear alongside his associates.
The in-person hearing that would take place on Wednesday, March 20, has other obstacles to overcome.
“It appears that Chairman Comer has decided that his best witnesses now include a federally imprisoned ‘serial fraudster’ and a bitterly frustrated potential business partner who collaborated with the Trump campaign,” said top Democratic supervisor Jamie Raskin. in a statement about the new invitations. referring to Galanis and Bobulinski.
Hunter and Bobulinski are in trouble after his former partner came forward with allegations that Joe was involved in his deal with Chinese company CEFC in 2017.
He also admitted to putting his father Joe on speakerphone and inviting him to lunches many times over the years with business associates and “friends,” but insisted he was not involved in his shady dealings with the Chinese, Ukrainians and others.
‘I’m surprised my dad hasn’t called me now, and if he did, I’d put him on speaker to say hello to you and Congressman Raskin and everyone else in the room. It’s literally nothing nefarious,” Hunter said.
Meanwhile, Bobulinski unequivocally claimed that Hunter benefited from his last name and that Joe was involved.
In 2020, Bobulinski published a May 2017 email detailing a proposed stock split for a Chinese investment (10 percent for the “big guy” note) and claimed for the first time that the “big guy” was Joe.
He also told impeachment investigators that it is “also not a coincidence” that CEFC used the Biden family’s “weakest link,” Hunter, to funnel tens of millions of dollars.
But Hunter last week questioned whether his father is the “great guy” being referred to and criticized Bobulinski for telling lies about his family.
“It didn’t involve my dad,” he said.
‘I think it was an impossible promise. Like ‘Joe Biden is out of office.’ Maybe we can get him involved,’ Hunter testified.
“I want to be very clear: From my direct personal experience and what I have subsequently learned, it is clear to me that Joe Biden was ‘the brand’ that the Biden family was selling,” Bobulinski said in opening remarks.
He went on to say that Joe was “more than a participant” in his family’s business, but rather “a facilitator, despite being protected by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability.”
“The Biden family business was Joe Biden, period,” he said. Additionally, he detailed how the Chinese energy company CEFC ‘successfully sought to infiltrate and compromise’ the Obama-Biden White House.
Bobulinski also previously suggested that he testify publicly before Congress alongside Hunter, Jim Biden and Joe Biden.
Galanis has another challenge entirely.
He is currently in an Alabama prison, serving time for defrauding a Native American tribe.
It’s unclear if Galanis could participate virtually or if lawmakers could work with the Bureau of Prisons to make other arrangements.
He told Republican impeachment investigators that ‘Biden’s push’ was the reason he did business with his first son, claiming he helped close deals they believed would make them billions.
The “Biden elevator” we talked about was access. “Access meant for us at that time, being in the business of acquiring other companies, persuading third parties to do business with us,” Galanis explained in transcripts made public Monday.
Devon Archer, who testified privately last summer, appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show and would likely be willing to appear publicly.
However, he has said that he has not spoken to Hunter, his former best friend, in many years. Therefore, his meeting would likely be awkward, especially after he has spoken at length about the Biden family dynamic.
Tony Bobulinski was in business with Hunter Biden and claimed that Joe Biden was also involved in a May 2017 deal with China.
Biden impeachment investigators traveled to an Alabama prison to speak with Jason Galanis, who is currently serving a 14-year sentence for defrauding a Native American tribe.
Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s former friend and business partner, arrived at the Capitol on Monday to deliver explosive testimony before the House Oversight Committee.
Archer testified about Hunter’s role on the board of directors of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, for which he was paid more than $80,000 a month.
Archer testified last summer that Burisma CFO Vadim Pozharskyi and CEO Nikola Zlochevsky “constantly” pressured Hunter in 2015 to have his father fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma.
Hunter Biden, along with Zlochevsky and Pozharski, allegedly “called DC” to talk about Shokin.
In March 2016, Joe Biden allegedly threatened to withhold $1 billion in aid to Ukraine if Shokin was not fired for corruption.
