The actress, 55, who celebrated Christmas with Anstead, 45, and her five-year-old son, stepped out in a black jacket and matching leggings.
They were seen side by side as they splashed the disabled dog.
The Oscar winner wore black and blue sneakers and placed an orange peaked cap with the Texas Longhorns logo over her blonde locks in support of her alma mater, the University of Texas at Austen.
She appeared to be wearing minimal makeup.
Anstead showed off his biceps in a tight black T-shirt and gray jeans with black shearling boots.

The Born Mechanic host was spotted in November filming an episode of Haack’s upcoming makeover show, The Flip Off.
