The couple has been dating since June 2021 after they met on Anstead’s Discovery+ show, Celebrity IOU: Joyride.
A month later, they were seen together for the first time at their beach house in Laguna Beach, California.
In August of that same year, Anstead spoke about her relationship for the first time publicly on E!’s Daily Pop.
“Look, everyone knows that Renée and I have become pretty close, because we kept it a secret for a while,” he said at the time.
He later added that it was a “real pleasure” to work with her on her show.
In September 2021, the couple became Instagram official when Anstead shared an adorable black and white selfie of the couple.
At the time, a source said People that the couple has “a lot of respect for each other.”
“They spent as much time together as possible when they weren’t working on other projects,” the source revealed.

Last year, the couple moved in together after Anstead sold their home in Laguna Beach, California.
In early April 2023, a source revealed to People that Zellweger and Anstead had “found a house they both love and will move into together.”
The source also told the outlet that the couple “is very happy and in love.”
In July 2023, reports emerged that the couple had a secret and low-key engagement, which the outlet confirmed was not true.
Anstead is the father of son Archie and daughter Amelie from his relationship with his first wife, Louise.
