Renee Zellweger She was seen wearing Bridget Jones’ signature miniskirt as she continued filming the new Bridget Jones movie in Camden on Friday.
The 55-year-old actress, who has played the main character in the last three films, is currently filming the fourth installment, Mad About The Boy, in the capital.
Renee was seen wandering around town in a tartan skirt and vintage blue and gray cardigan, paired with a white quilted coat.
In the upcoming film, Bridget enjoys an affair with a younger, handsome lover named Rockstar, played by One Day star Leo Woodall, 27.
Getting right into character, Renée wore a green quilted jacket and a vintage blue and gray cardigan, paired with a rather short red tartan skirt that would have driven her former boss and ex-lover Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) crazy.

Isla Fisher also stars in the long-awaited film, playing Bridget’s friend.
The return of the miniskirt will no doubt remind fans of Bridget’s exchange with Daniel in the original film, when the sexist rat emailed her after seeing her in a very short garment.
His writing is famous: ‘Where is the skirt? Is the skirt sick?
And she replied: ‘I am shocked by the message. It can be shown that the skirt is neither sick nor absent. Dismayed by management’s blatantly size-restrictive attitude… to boot. Suggest sick management, not a skirt!
He replied: ‘If walking past the office… was an attempt to demonstrate the presence of skirt… I can only say that it has failed miserably.’ Adhere.’
Then she responded, ‘Shut up, please.’ I am very busy and important. PS: How dare you sexually harass me… in this impertinent way?
Daniel concluded: ‘Mortified to have offended. It will avoid all non-PC nuances in the future. Deeply apologized. PS: I like your tits with that top.
While the exchange was seen as cheeky and flirty at the time, it is now considered quite sexist.

The Telegraph wrote: ‘One of the aspects of the story that deserves to be canceled is the relationship with Bridget’s boss, Daniel Cleaver.
‘Cleaver is objectively objectionable: a sexually deviant drinker who cheats on the lovely Bridget (bad) and leaves her to attend Alconbury’s Tarts and Vicar party alone (possibly even worse). But he’s also (unfortunately) incredibly sexy.
“Some have said the relationship with Cleaver is sexual harassment because it begins in the workplace and ends badly.”
In the new film, Bridget enjoys an adventure with Rockstar and PE teacher Mr. Walker, played by 12 Years a Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, as well as rekindling her on-off relationship with Hugh Grant’s Daniel Cleaver.
Chiwetel, 46, was seen filming scenes last week, meaning only Hugh and Colin Firth, who has a small role in the film as the late Mark Darcy, have yet to be seen in character.
Renee and Leo were seen filming together on May 18 in hilarious scenes when Bridget got stuck in a tree on Hampstead Heath.
Rockstar, who works as a park ranger, apparently comes to her rescue dressed in an all-green uniform.
One viewer said: ‘Leo and Renee looked like they were having a great time. There was a lot of laughter and they seemed to get along very well.’
The filming of Bridget Jones comes on the heels of much fan delight following the announcement of the beloved character’s return to the big screen.

Renee first appeared as Bridget in 2001’s Bridget Jones’ Diary and returned in 2004’s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and 2016’s Bridget Jones’ Baby.
The film was officially confirmed last month, with the returns of Renée and Hugh Grant made official, after the death of their love rat character, Daniel Cleaver, was faked in the 2016 third installment.
The fourth film in the franchise, based on the books by Helen Fielding,
Universal Film will release it on the American platform Peacock on Valentine’s Day 2025, while internationally the film will be released in theaters.
Emma Thompson, who played Doctor Rawlings in the last film, is also back, with Chiwetel Ejiofor and White Lotus star Leo Woodall also starring.
Renee has been busy since arriving in London two weeks ago to reprise her role as the Bachelorette for the fourth, and probably final, time.
She spent four days filming at ITV studios in White City, west London, where shows such as This Morning and Loose Women are made.
There she met the hosts of both shows, including Cat Deeley, who was said to be “super excited” to see her.
Many studio employees were “overwhelmed with emotion” and desperate to take selfies with the Hollywood star when they realized the movie was being filmed at their workplace.
The scenes were filmed on the set used by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly for their now-defunct show Saturday Night Takeaway, while Loose Women audience members were also asked to stay behind to film some scenes.
An ITV source said: “It was chaos, imagine Bridget coming to your work.” It was literally a dream come true. The place was absolutely packed. Word spread so fast, Cat was so excited.
Bridget creator Helen Fielding was also seen on set as she prepares to say goodbye to the beloved character. The film will be released on Valentine’s Day next year.
Last month it was revealed that Bridget’s obsession with losing weight will be “downplayed” in the film for fear she could be a bad influence.
