A 35-year-old woman has spoken of her horror after discovering that her breast implants were slowly "poisoning" her body.
Renee Kacz, from Western Australia, decided to undergo breast augmentation surgery for her 21st birthday after feeling unsure of herself.
Then began years of excruciating pain, severe hormonal imbalances, adrenal fatigue, adult acne and even endured heavy metal toxicity several times.
But despite being seriously ill, doctors could not discover the cause of their symptoms.
In remarks to 7News, Renee was eventually removed from the breast implants after she believed they were the underlying cause of the ravages that affected her health.

"They completely changed color because they were breaking down in my body," Renee told 7News.
Blaming her health problems on her silicone implants, Renee said: "They are disgusting, horrible and toxic bags."
He explained that he had breast implants twice after the first ones were remembered all over the world because they were defective. Then Renee replaced them with silicone implants.
But as the years passed, she finally quit her job as a corporate lawyer after becoming extremely ill and felt she was "dying slowly."
The 35-year-old woman believed that her breast implants caused years of excruciating pain, severe hormonal imbalances, adrenal fatigue, acne in adults and heavy metal toxicity.

After doctors struggled to determine the cause of her condition, Renee turned to the Internet for help.
And it was there that she discovered thousands of other women around the world who face the reality of serious health problems after having breast implants.
He was able to recover once the implants were removed.
Renee, who now works as a strategic business coach, wanted to share her story in an effort to warn other women about the dangers of breast implants.
