The word narcissist gets thrown around a lot, but if you’re worried about having an overly high sense of your own importance, there’s a simple test.
According to self-proclaimed relationship expert Jimmy Knowles, there is an easy way to solve it and it all starts with the questions a person asks themselves.
“You’re not a narcissist if you’re actually willing to ask your partner or your parents or your friend, ‘Hey, what’s it like being on the other side of me?'” Jimmy revealed.
‘Do you feel that I respect people’s limits? Do I constantly neglect other people’s feelings or needs? she listed.

Jimmy, who went viral after confessing in a video last year that he cheated about his wife but they remained together, he continued: ‘I only think about myself?’
“Because if you really care about any of those answers, you’re about as far from being a narcissist as you can get,” he said.
The content creator said that people often wonder what it means if you are rude to your partner and say or do things that are not the person you want to be.
“I totally understand,” he assured viewers.
Jimmy added that “90 percent” of people who ask if they are narcissists have partners who “neglect and discard them.”
In another video, the social media star addressed whether a narcissist can change and whether a person in a relationship with a narcissist can be saved.
“The answer to both is yes,” he revealed. “But it all depends on one vital thing element: A narcissist will never change if he doesn’t actually see a problem with the way things are.
“For change to take place, they first have to admit that something is not working,” he explained.

Jimmy warned that the changehappen” if the person refuses to put in the time and effort.
“Intentions mean nothing,” he said.
“A narcissist can change; absolutely anyone can change,” he continued. “The question is whether they are willing to work on self-reflection and humility and admit that they don’t know everything and learn how to repair conflicts and heal the damage they have caused through invalidation, manipulation, lying or selfishness.” ?’
Jimmy explained that the reason narcissistic relationships are so “toxic and damaging” is because a person is completely self-centered.
‘ANDYou can’t have privacy or Mutual respect or emotional security with someone who believes themselves superior to you,’ he said.

Unfortunately, Jimmy said the hardest part of dating a narcissist is what it takes to save the relationship: walking away.
‘The only way to save that relationship is to show them that you’re really willing to walk away,” he said,
“The problem with so many narcissistic relationships is that we can get trapped in a traumatic bond and we don’t even realize that we have convinced ourselves that we have to fix or heal them with our love,” he added.
