Smile! Reims goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic lets Lionel Messi snap a photo with his son after the Argentine made his PSG debut…
Lionel Messi was in demand after his highly anticipated debut for Paris Saint-Germain, with Reims goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic asking the Argentine to pose for a picture with his son.
Messi, who came on a free transfer from Barcelona to PSG this summer, made his first appearance for the French club when he came off the bench in the 66th minute to replace Neymar.
The attacker was unable to mark his debut with a goal, but there was great excitement at the Stade Auguste Delaune, with home supporters giving him a rousing reception despite lining up for the opposing team.

And the excitement extended to the Reims players as shot-stopper Rajkovic approached Messi for a photo with his young son.
The 34-year-old did so, holding the boy in the air while Rajkovic took the photo on his phone.
Rajkovic’s young son didn’t seem too excited himself, but Messi smiled broadly for the photo.

Pochettino praised his new acquisition and insisted he made a significant impact in his 24-minute cameo.
“He was very good from the moment he took the field,” said Pochettino.
“Every time he touched the ball, he spread calm throughout the team. In fact, it is important for Lionel Messi to win on his debut.
“The welcome he received was wonderful to see and hear, not only from our fans but also from Reims. He deserved it. He can radiate an optimism and energy that everyone can feel and that can have a positive influence on the other players. He’s Messi.’
The Argentinian made his debut for Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, but did not score
Kylian Mbappé scored twice, while Mauricio Pochettino’s side took four wins from four games
While Messi was not on the scoresheet, Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe was. His two goals gave PSG a 2-0 win, turning it into four wins from four games, sending the Ligue 1 leaders into the international break.
Real had a £154million bid for Mbappe rejected by PSG this week and the French club are determined to keep the 22-year-old.
Mbappe is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave on a free transfer, but the club have not given up hope of convincing him to sign a new contract.
