Reese Witherspoon is mourning the loss of her beloved family dog, Hank, following his death at age 14 this week.
The 48-year-old Oscar-winning actress, who is rumoured to be dating Oliver Haarmann, shared an adorable photo of the chocolate Labrador on her front porch as she paid tribute to him.
She wrote: ‘We will miss your sweet spirit, Hank.
‘Thank you for being the best family pet and the leader of the pack.’
The star’s children Ava, 24, and Deacon, 20, who she shares with ex-husband Ryan Philippe, also shared touching snaps with their late dog.

Deacon wrote: ‘The happiest dog ever’ on a post of him cuddling Hank.
Reese is also a mother to son Tennessee, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Jim Toth, 54, a former talent agent whom she split from last year.
Reese is currently at the centre of claims that she is dating German private equity financier Olivier Haarmann, 56.
She and Olivier were spotted out and about in New York last week, and DailyMail.com exclusively reported that they had been on multiple dates before.
However, a source close to the pair commented that Reese is “taking things slow when it comes to dating” and added that she is “friends” with Olivier.
“She enjoys it, but she doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son. Those are her top priorities,” the source said. People.

Reese and Ryan married in 1999, just three months after the release of their teen drama Cruel Intentions, which also starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair.
At the time of their wedding, Reese was already pregnant with Ava, and they welcomed Deacon in 2003 before divorcing in 2008.
In 2011, Reese married Jim Toth, who as an agent represented such famous names as Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey.
They announced their separation in March 2023, just two days before celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary.

A source said Jim, who used to be at CAA but left in 2019 to work at doomed streamer Quibi, was more “laid back,” while Reese was “stubborn and focused.”
