A missing girl has been found naked in a house where she was allegedly drugged and raped in a coastal town southeast of Brisbane.
A 48-year-old man has been arrested after police allegedly discovered a child in a Redland Bay home on Sunday.
It was later charged with rape, indecent treatment of a minor under 16 years of age and administration of methamphetamine for sexual purposes.
The man appeared at Cleveland Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday,
The court heard he needs to contact his representatives at Hannay Lawyers before entering a plea. Mail reported.
Police spent Tuesday forensically examining the house, which remains a crime scene.
“Police need to complete the crime scene,” police prosecutor Angela Tetley told the court.
‘Samples have been taken from both the child and the accused.’

Sgt Tetley added: “There will be many more charges to come.”
The matter was adjourned until next week for bail applications.
The man remains in custody.
He will also appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court later this month on unrelated drug possession charges.
