Arthur Morgan and co. look better than ever thanks to a new mod.
If you’re currently toying with the idea of starting a new run in Red Dead Redemption 2, you now have another good reason to do so. The modder instantaneous
has a big one 4K texture pack on Nexusmods released, which improves the already opulent graphics of the western epic even further.
This brings you the new 4K mod
However, the mod does not improve all pixel wallpapers of the Wild West, but only those of all characters who appear in cutscenes as part of main and side missions. So, unsurprisingly, that applies to the main character Arthur Morgan, but also includes popular supporting characters such as his gang buddies Lenny Summers and John Marston.
What is changing in detail? Due to the high 4K resolution of the textures, the faces of the characters appear much sharper and fine details stand out significantly. The 4K facelift should be noticeable, especially with hair and beards. Clothing should also benefit from the new textures.

This is how you install the 4K mod on your computer
If you have already polished the revolvers and given your faithful horse a new set of horseshoes, we will help you to install the mod on your system as quickly as possible. Because first you have to do some preparatory work:
- First install the free help tool Lenny’s Mod Loaderby unpacking the downloaded files into your RDR2 installation directory.
- Then load the 2.4 GB 4K texture package at Nexusmods down.
- Extracts the archive to the folder path lml/streamsto be found in your installation directory.
