Rebel Wilson has pulled her $2.3 million Sydney penthouse from auction this weekend after rescheduling it from June to July.
The Pitch Perfect star, 44, purchased the Balmain investment property for $1.88 million in 2015.
Now the actor, who enlisted his younger sister Annachi ‘Anna’ Wilson to sell the home, has reportedly called off the auction altogether. The Daily Telegraph on Sunday.
It’s unclear when or if Rebel intends to re-auction the luxury apartment, though it appears she may have done so on the advice of her real estate agent.
Anna, 32, became a sales agent at Cobden & Hayson Real Estate earlier this year after previously working as a buyer’s agent.
Cobden & Hayson boss Matthew Hayson revealed in his video market update this week that there is now a sub-50 per cent success rate at auctions in the Rebel area.
This midweek report may have been what prompted Anna and Rebel to pull the Balmain property from auction for the foreseeable future.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Anna for comment.

“While most agents transition from being a sales agent to a buyer’s agent, I have chosen to go in the opposite direction and make the switch to share my knowledge and help more people,” Anna said on Cobden & Hayson’s website.
Anna is said to have secured over $30 million in real estate for clients in her previous role as a buyer.
