Rebel Wilson shared a rare photo of her mother Sue Bownds and her surprising profession on Sunday.
On Instagram, the 44-year-old actress posted a photo of her mother, who was captured in action as a dog judge during an event in China.
‘Dog mom judging in China. I’m glad for the Bichon,’ Rebel captioned.
Sue has been a professional dog sitter since 1980 and often travels the world to do this work.
Speaking previously about her childhood, Rebel said her family often traveled around Australia to attend dog shows.

“My childhood was filled with weekend adventures to dog shows across Australia and my family ran a business selling pet products from a caravan, including leashes, treats and the best grooming equipment available,” he said in a statement.
With a shared love of canines, Rebel went on to present the Australian television show Pooch Perfect in 2020 on Channel Seven.
In the series, ten professional dog groomers faced off in a series of themed challenges.

It comes after Rebel lost her legal battle with her former Grimsby co-star Sacha Baron Cohen to ensure an intact version of her book Rebel Rising was published in Australia.
Instead, a redacted version of the 44-year-old’s memoir will be published in Australia and New Zealand, with the entire chapter in which she accused Cohen of inappropriate behavior redacted.
Although the book has already been published in the United States, publisher HarperCollins Australia confirmed that Australian readers will not be able to read the chapter.
“For legal reasons, we have redacted a chapter in the Australian and New Zealand edition and included an explanatory note accordingly,” they said in a statement.
Sue has been a professional dog sitter since 1980 and often travels the world to do this work.
“That chapter is a very small part of a much larger story and we are excited for readers to learn Rebel’s story when the book is published on Wednesday, May 8.”
The blacked out chapter was titled ‘Sacha Baron Cohen and Other Assholes’ and described the allegedly inappropriate way Cohen behaved towards her on the set of the 2016 comedy film Grimsby.
A spokesperson for Baron Cohen said this move was a clear victory for the actor: “Harper Collins did not verify this chapter of the book before its publication. It took the sensible but belated step of removing Rebel’s defamatory claims.
‘Printing falsehoods is illegal in the UK and Australia; This is not a “quirk” as Ms. Wilson said but a legal principle that has existed for hundreds of years. “This is a clear victory for Sacha Baron Cohen.”
