The 44-year-old Australian, who no longer takes the semaglutide injectable, admitted to the Sunday Times: “Someone like me might have an insatiable appetite for sweets, so I think those medications might be good.”

The SAG Award nominee and her fiancée Ramona Agruma finally welcomed their 16-month-old daughter, Royce Lillian Elizabeth Wilson, via surrogate in November 2022.

Rebel (born Melanie Bownds) previously claimed to have successfully reached her goal weight of 165 pounds through high-intensity interval training with fitness trainer Jono Castano Acero, long walks, and a high-protein, low-sugar diet.

Over the past four years, Wilson admitted to regaining some of that weight, including 20 pounds from “stress eating,” ahead of the release of her upcoming memoir Rebel Rising.

“I firmly believe that young women shouldn’t try to become obsessed with looking like Victoria’s Secret models; they should just look like themselves,” said Wilson, who is an “emotional eater.”

“I know my relationship with food is complicated.”

The Pitch Perfect alum, who enjoyed a luxurious vacation at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos this weekend, is pleased with her current 5-foot-4 frame as she’s “still curvy and solid.”

Other celebrities who have admitted to taking Ozempic include Elon Musk, Chelsea Handler, Amy Schumer, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Lauren Manzo, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Fessler, Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi and Remi Bader.

Dr. Andrew Kraftson, an obesity expert, said most people taking these medications will reach a plateau around 18 months after starting treatment.

‘You could tell someone that they are going to potentially lose 15 per cent of their weight on Ozempic or Wegovy. But once they get to 15 percent, it’s not like they say, “Oh, I’m satisfied now, great,” Kraftson told the New York Times last September.

‘I’m not trying to sound like a dream killer, but sometimes you really wonder: what is the void we’re trying to fill?’ And will additional weight loss really fill you up?

Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro and Victoza should only be prescribed to severely overweight patients with type 2 diabetes, and only one of them (Wegovy) has been approved for weight loss by the FDA in 2021.

The Novo Nordisk brand injectable can cost $25 a month for qualified patients with insurance, but costs between $600 and $1,300 for a monthly supply of four weekly pocket pens.
