Rebecca Minkoff’s Real Housewives of New York City castmates are showing their support for the fashion designer following backlash over her connection to the Church of Scientology.
The 43-year-old, who is a high-profile Scientologist, was photographed in a speeder van with some of her new castmates as they filmed a “girls trip” for the show’s upcoming 17th season.
Erin Lichy shared a photo of the fun moment on social media.
Rebecca was sitting in the back of the van with Brynn Whitfield, while Erin was in the front seat between Ubah Hassan and Jenna Lyons.
The group seemed to be having an amazing time filming, with Jenna and Erin laughing and smiling in the picture.

The 43-year-old, who is a high-profile Scientologist, was photographed in a speeder van with some of her new co-stars as they filmed a ‘girls trip’ for the show’s upcoming 17th season.
Rebecca later shared a short video of her modeling her outfit for the little girl’s trip, which received rave comments from both Erin and Sai De Silva.
It comes as Rebecca has faced backlash from fans after Dailymail.com uncovered her deep links to Scientology.
Not only are the fashionista and her entire family long-time church members and big money donors, but her father was also implicated in the tragic death of Lisa McPherson.
Several RHONY fans have expressed their disappointment over Minkoff joining the new season, with one writing, ‘Please don’t cast a Scientologist!’
Another wrote: ‘I know many are excited for Rebecca Minkoff to join #RHONY, I’m not. She is a well-known Scientologist…’
However, some viewers have expressed excitement about a potentially juicy story involving the controversial church.
“The streets trying to ‘expose’ Rebecca Minkoff for being a Scientologist is literally not the reason I’m going to support her,” one fan posted.

Some RHONY fans have complained about the show’s decision to cast a Scientologist.
“Regardless of her Scientology cult, I’m tuned in. Brynn or Ubah better grill her about it,” said another.
While fans are no doubt anticipating an explosive Scientology subplot next season, they may be out of luck.
According Janet Charlton’s HollywoodMinkoff has an agreement with the producers that none of her co-stars can mention Scientology on camera unless she brings it up herself first.
If true, viewers may have to settle for enjoying Minkoff’s impeccable wardrobe instead of diving into her personal life.
Bravo has already given fellow fashion designer-turned-Real Housewife Jenna Lyons special privileges to keep her relationship with co-star Cass Bird off the show.
“I have a relationship, but I would like not to name it,” Lyons told the New York Times.
‘I want to keep her out of the press. That is my commitment to her. She’s off the table. I joined this process. She does not.’
