Rebecca Gibney took to social media to announce a major life change, revealing she would be moving out of her lavish home in Dunedin, New Zealand.

The Halifax fp star, 59, shared a video capturing her exquisitely designed five-bedroom property on the South Island and explained she was moving for her family.

“Major changes have happened for us. We decided to leave our beautiful beachfront home and head north to track down our son,” she wrote.

“Actually, for various reasons, but tracking down Zac seems better!” On the road to new adventures. I love you Dunners.

“Thank you for being my refuge. I will miss you and your beautiful people,” she added.

Rebecca’s 19-year-old son Zachary studies acting at a drama school in Wellington, on New Zealand’s North Island.

Gibney had lived on the 30-acre property since 2017 with her husband Richard Bell.

In December, Gibney revealed the secret to her long and loving marriage was friendship, not fireworks.

The Australian actress said Stellar her 22 years with her husband Richard were filled with support and comfort.

“You have to have an open, honest line of communication — and be really willing to answer tough questions and discuss tough things,” she said.

She went on to explain that because the couple found love “later in life,” in their 30s, they knew exactly what they wanted from a relationship.

“You realize it’s not about the fireworks and all that. We definitely had it, but we both knew that in the beginning we wanted a long-term thing,” she said.

“You know, maybe the romance might wane, (but) compromise is also key. You have to be able to step back and walk away, it’s better to be nice than that isn’t it sometimes? Take away your ego and your pride.

“Will this argument matter in five minutes, five years, 50 years? Probably not. So, you know, take your foot off the gas.
