A glamorous model who shot her day trader husband five times in an oceanfront Florida apartment before turning the gun on herself apparently feared he would divorce her over her infidelity.
Sabrina Krasniqi, 27, shot Pajtim Krasniqi, 34, around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 45th floor of the Beach Club II Hallandale luxury apartment tower overlooking Hallandale Beach, north of Miami.
The couple’s bodies were later seen lying on the balcony next to apartment 4508 as police searched inside and blood dripped over the edge onto the lower balconies.
Pajtim’s brother, Arben “Benny” Krasniqi, now says the family had concerns about Sabrina even before the shooting.
“We’ve seen a lot of signs, and now everything makes sense,” he says told the New York Post. “But they were in love and never in a million years did we think something like this could happen.”
He then revealed that Sabrina admitted to Pajtim that she cheated on him.
“She got to a point of guilt or something that she just couldn’t bear,” Arben said.
‘My brother wanted a divorce, and she didn’t take that lightly. And she decided to end her life, and somewhere along the way she decided to end my brother’s life too.”

Neighbors have also said they heard violent fighting coming from the couple’s apartment in the weeks leading up to the murder-suicide, and said they would argue on the balcony and in their unit, the Post reports.
But a neighbor, who considered himself a friend of Pajtim, told Local 10 News he thought everything was fine in their relationship.
“Every time I saw them or they went in the pool, everything seemed great,” the unidentified neighbor said.
“Everyone is just in shock.”
Police said they were alerted to the crime by an alert from ShotSpotter, a gunfire detection program, and rushed to the scene to find the couple dead.
‘Advising that both people are on the balcony. Woman on her back, one man on his face on the balcony,” a dispatcher was quoted as saying by Broadcastify.
Footage from the police investigation showed a teddy bear, a box of roses with a heart on it and the TV still blaring.
Aerial footage also showed what appeared to be bullet holes in a glass door of the apartment, with pools of blood nearby.
Both Sabrina and Pajtim were pronounced dead at the scene.

Sabrina was previously featured in a 2021 report from Inside Edition, in which she walked around Times Square in New York to see how many men would copy her if she wore a mask.
“It’s kind of upsetting because I don’t feel safe and I don’t feel comfortable… It just gives you the heebie-jeebies,” she said.
“That would be the last man I would ever date.”
The following year they moved from their family in New York to the apartment in Florida.
When Pajtim returned to the Big Apple, he made sure to visit everyone in his large Albanian family who immigrated to the US from Peja, Kosovo. He was the only one of his siblings born in the US.
“He made time for everyone and brought us all together,” said his oldest sister, Ardiana. “That’s why everyone loved him.”
Patjim’s other sister, Albana Krasniqi Munrett, added that their mother had been left ‘devastated’ by his death.
‘That’s her baby. He called her every day. He treated my mother like gold,” she said.

Pajtim’s family remembered him in the aftermath of the shooting as a devoted brother, son, uncle and friend with a love of life “that few could ever hope to copy.”
‘He was a fighter. He was one of the mentally strongest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing,” the spokesperson said in a joint statement.
‘After suffering a devastating motorcycle accident in 2018, he was determined not to allow doctors to amputate his leg, despite all the evidence that it was the best way forward.
‘Knowing full well that saving his leg would lead to multiple operations, pain and long recovery times, he took up the challenge.
“He further ignored the doctor’s orders and refused to take his pain medication during each of his recovery surgeries because he refused to become addicted to the medications.
‘Faced with unfathomable odds and despite those multiple surgeries and long healing times, he never complained. He never acted. He took it all in stride.
“His strength and determination were infectious to those of us who knew him and will forever be a source of strength and pride to our family.
Pajtim’s family remembered him as a fighter, noting that he refused to have his leg amputated after a motorcycle accident in 2018 and refused to take painkillers.
“He loved his nieces and nephews beyond compare. It is a great joy to remember him smiling, laughing and playing with the children. He was always the first to take them out for ice cream, to watch a movie or to just play around the house.”
Arben also described his younger brother as a hard-working, white-collar day trader who dabbled in real estate and crypto.
“He was a genius,” the grieving brother said, noting that everyone in the extended family is now “just trying to cope.”
“We have lost someone who is so genuine, who is so loving, who is intelligent and hardworking and just irreplaceable – and it has devastated the whole family.
‘My brother was full of life. He was full of ambition. He was full of love. And all of that has been taken away from us because of one person’s selfish act. Another selfish act by (Sabrina) and (she took) my brother.”
