Jennifer Lopez has reportedly stayed in touch with her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s children.
A source has shared with People that Jennifer, 55, has stayed ‘in touch’ with Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, the three children Ben, 52, shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The new update comes after Violet was seen hanging out with Jennifer’s sister, Lynda Lopez, in a recent selfie.
The Let’s Get Loud singer, who has two children and filed for divorce from Ben in August, has made herself available to the children if they ever need her.
‘Jennifer stays in touch with the Affleck children. Their whole family loves them. “He wants them to know they can always reach out to them if they need anything,” the source said.

Ben’s eldest daughter, Violet, has forged a warm relationship with her former stepmother.
Over the summer, amid rumors of Bennifer’s divorce, Violet was seen hanging out with Jennifer in the Hamptons.
Violet was even seen wearing Jennifer’s Dolce & Gabbana dress during an outing in Brentwood, California recently. It’s the same dress Jennifer wore during a date night with Ben on Valentine’s Day last year.
More recently, Jennifer’s sister Lynda visited Violet at Yale University and the duo took a selfie together.
Jennifer was also seen going shopping with Samuel in August, shortly before the divorce was announced.
The Waiting For Tonight singer is a mother of two: she has 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
The new update comes after DailyMail.com reported that Ben and Garner were confused by Violet’s decision to keep Lynda “close.”
Violet is determined to maintain her connection with the singer and her family and approached Lynda to arrange a catch-up.

The source revealed that Violet invited Lynda, adding: ‘She admires JLo and Lynda and intends to keep the bond alive.
“Violet said he just walked up to her and told her he wanted to come visit her.”

The blended family was seen having lunch after filing for divorce in September.
Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben on August 20, the second anniversary of the former couple’s formal wedding ceremony.
She listed the day of their separation as April 26 in her filing and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation.
