Mike Tindall was forced to break up a harmless fight between his two youngest children when they arrived to cheer on Zara at the Burghley horse trials today.
The former rugby player was joined by his daughters Mia, 10, Lena, six, and son Lucas, three, at Burghley House near Stamford, Lincolnshire, on Saturday afternoon.
Mike, 45, was pictured carrying his youngest son around the garden, before his six-year-old daughter clung to his arm to be lifted inches off the grass.
The royal also stopped to take photos with fans who spotted him spending a day with his family, pictures taken by his eldest daughter, Mia, 10.
The family were at Burghley House to watch Zara compete with her horse Class Affair in the cross-country section of the Burghley Horse Trials.

Princess Anne’s daughter fell off Class Affair at Rolex Corners, putting her out of contention, but thankfully both Zara and her horse were unhurt.
Later that day, Zara and Mike’s three children were clearly enjoying their day, grabbing ice cream and showing off their karate moves in the friends and family area.
Mike was even seen spinning three-year-old Lucas in the air after the little one started a playfight with his six-year-old sister, Lena.
Zara’s supportive husband Mike kept things casual in a white T-shirt and blue jeans at Burghley House, completing his ensemble with a baseball cap and khaki backpack.
Lena and Lucas were also dressed casually for the day, while older sister Mia was her dad’s mini-me in jeans, a T-shirt and a baseball cap.
The Defender Burghley Horse Trials is an annual three-day event usually held at Burghley House, near Stamford, in early September.
The Tindalls’ departure comes after Zara praised their mother for teaching her the importance of “good quality clothing” when unveiling its raincoat collection.

The collection, called Odyssey, includes “highly versatile” styles, both long and short, to suit any outdoor activity this fall and winter.
