Real Madrid are reportedly considering signing alternative right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Alexander-Arnold has been heavily linked with a move to Real, and Liverpool are reportedly starting to accept that the England international will leave Anfield with his contract expiring in the summer.
The 26-year-old could leave Liverpool in January, with Real Madrid seeking a replacement for Dani Carvajal, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Alexander-Arnold will be able to talk to foreign clubs in January.
However, Alexander-Arnold is not the only right-back option Liverpool are pursuing.
