Real Madrid continued their pursuit of the LaLiga title with a 2-1 win over Cadiz on Thursday night.
Los Blancos took the lead thanks to a header from Eder Militao in the first half, before German midfielder Toni Kroos doubled the lead with a rocket attack. Former Arsenal forward Lucas Perez grabbed a late goal for the visitors.
The result leaves Madrid two points behind long-term rivals Barcelona at the top of the LaLiga table. They will now take a break for the World Cup.
