Real Housewives Of Orange County star Emily Simpson has said she has lost 40 pounds.
And now she feels ‘comfortable’ in her own skin.
The reality TV star — whose boyfriend Shannon Beador recently got a DUI — opened up about her journey on social media.
“I gained 40 pounds around age 42 and it wasn’t until now (at 47) that I was finally able to lose it and feel like my old self again,” Simpson, 47, wrote.
The star was seen in her photo at the gym.
‘To be clear, I’ve been rocking a swimsuit on TV for five years and have never felt ugly or lacked confidence in myself or my body. Not once,” she continued.
“I am the strongest (mentally and physically) right now… at the age of 47… and I will continue to improve myself daily. My only competition is me ❤️.”
And she said she lost weight by going to the gym first thing every morning.

“Thank you for following this journey with me and for those of you who are always kind and commenting positively… I appreciate you! For the haters out there.. I love you too! You motivate me daily to lift harder and eat better❤️,” she concluded.
“Thank you @paulinastein for texting me every morning at 6am and confirming I would be at the gym at 7am.”
She joined the Real Housewives of Orange County star in season 13.
At the end of August, she shared the results of her upper eyelid correction on her Instagram Stories.
The reality TV star posted three videos, two of which showed her eyes beforehand, and one that showed the results right after Dr. Siamak Agha had ‘an inch’ of skin removed from her upper eyelids.
The star has previously undergone a facelift, liposuction and used the help of Ozempic to shed pounds.
In the first clip, Emily was pictured in the doctor’s office in a surgical gown, with marker indicators on her eyelids.
She explained that she decided to have the surgery after recently noticing that when she takes pictures, “you can’t see my eyes anymore.”

Before and after: In August, Simpson shared a before and after look at her upper eyelid surgery on her Instagram Stories
Dr. Agha then told her followers about the details of the surgery and how it will have a “significant impact” on how she will look.
“Hopefully you can see my eyes in pictures now, that’s the goal,” Emily added.
She also promised her fans that she would follow up once her eyes were completely healed to show them the final results.
The plastic surgeon revealed that the healing time for the surgery is “less than two weeks.”
He told her she can’t wear makeup for seven to eight days, which wasn’t ideal for Emily, who said she was having a party “in two days.”
“I have impeccable timing,” she joked.
“I’m going to wear sunglasses all night,” she added.
The star then returned to Instagram after the procedure was over, changing her surgical gown into a black hoodie.

“I’m done, so this is the final look,” she said, looking at herself into the camera, stitches visible on her upper eyelids.
The doctor revealed the surgery went ‘really well’ and he removed an inch of skin for a ‘brighter and tighter’ look, which excited Emily.
“I like the words clear and crisp,” she chimed in. ‘When you’re 47, there’s not much that’s bright and clear. It all starts to sag and fall. So clear and sleek is good.’
She then admired her results, saying that despite the bruising and swelling, she could already “see a big difference.”
At the end of the clip, the doctor revealed that Emily was awake for the surgery, adding, “I was just bored. I didn’t feel anything, you feel a little pressure, but no pain.’
In June, Emily revealed she used Ozempic to shed light on exactly how she achieved her new slimmed-down figure.
Simpson’s incredible weight loss transformation hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans, with the lawyer sharing how she achieved her new look during an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live.
She revealed that she had been taking the popular diabetes drug, which has recently been favored by celebrities as a weight loss aid, for a month.
She dropped 5-7 pounds from the medication before stopping use and subsequently having liposuction and a breast reduction. Now Simpson says she’s the “healthiest” she’s ever been.
The Bravo star said her weight loss journey started after a producer sent her a photo of herself after four months of poor sleeping, eating and exercise habits.

After losing weight, Emily also had a face and neck lift to accentuate her jawline

‘When we finished filming, I kind of had a nervous breakdown… I don’t know what happened, I think I just worked hard for four months while we were filming and I ate too much, drank too much, and just did it. ‘didn’t sleep enough, didn’t exercise.’
After receiving the photo, Emily was forced to shed the pounds after she could no longer recognize herself in the photo.
“He sent me a picture of myself on the green screen, and I remember thinking, ‘Who is that?’ I didn’t even know it was me. And it just made me very depressed, I knew I was gaining weight, I didn’t like the way I looked.
“So I went to the doctor, did a complete blood count, my cholesterol was high, I had zero testosterone, I was pre-diabetic. So she basically said, “Why don’t you do semaglutide?” That’s Ozempic. So I did. I did that in December.’
She also revealed that she had liposuction on her arms and a breast reduction and lift.
“In January I had liposuction in my arms and a breast reduction,” she said.
She added, “And when I healed from that and came out of it eight weeks later or whatever, I looked completely different… I felt like it was just a huge difference in my overall appearance just to the thinner arms and smaller chest.”
Emily said she was “so inspired” when she saw the results in her arms that she started a significantly healthier diet.
‘I just took a completely different path with food in a hardcore way. I became very aware of what I ate. I have completely changed my diet. I eat mainly proteins, very few carbohydrates, and I train six or seven days a week.’
