Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcel files for divorce from Michael Sterling amid ‘irrevocably broken’ marriage
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcel has filed for divorce from her husband, Michael Sterling, after more than four years of marriage.
The Los Angeles native, 38, told the court last week that her marriage to the lawyer was “irrevocably over.” Page six Reported Tuesday after reviewing documents in the case.
America’s Next Top model alum said in court documents that “there are no possibilities for reconciliation,” since she is seeking primary custody of her children through Sterling and child support.
The separated couple exchanged vows in October 2018 and have two children together — sons Michael, four, and Maverick, three.
Marcel is the mother of nine-year-old daughter Marley with singer Kevin McCall. Sterling was raising the boy and had been using his last name for the past three years.

Sterling explained that she and Sterling had separated at this time, TMZ mentioned.
Marcel said in court documents that she should have final decision-making authority on cases involving the children as their primary caregiver, the outlet reported.
Marcel told the court that £1 would have to cover treatment and dental expenses for the children.
Marcel and Sterling first got engaged in 2017 on Christmas Day.
The couple’s parting came as a shock, as Marcel took to Instagram last month on Valentine’s Day with a pair of photos of the couple and a clip of them dancing.
“Happy Valentine’s Day forever and ever @miketsterling #US,” she said.
Sterling called Marcel his “Valentine Forever” in a post, adding, “My Valentine’s Forever. I am so in love with you that there is nothing else. Happy Saint Valentine’s Day.
