Royal Bank of Scotland is the worst bank for dealing with PPI complaints, reveals new research.

Almost one in four customers said that they found the process difficult, according to consumer group Which?

Britain's largest construction society, Nationwide, was rated worst, almost one in five (19 percent) reported a challenging experience.

Lloyds Banking Group followed, with 18 percent of customers claiming that the process was cumbersome.
