Taylor sends fans into meltdown by releasing 15 MORE tracks

Just hours after the release of The Tortured Poets album, Taylor has announced 15 MORE tracks.

The pop star is known for her ‘Easter eggs’ and surprises for her fans, and sparked a flurry of speculation by posting a countdown clock on social media.

In the caption of the post, Taylor told her followers that she had written “so much tortured poetry over the last two years” that she wanted to share it with her fans.

Sharing the double album called The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, he wrote: ‘It’s a surprise at 2am: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album.

‘I had written a lot of tortured poetry over the last two years and I wanted to share it all with you, so here is the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 additional songs. And now the story is no longer mine… it’s all yours.’

What will happen next?

We may have 31 clues to go on, but there’s still a lot to look forward to!

Taylor will release a music video for lead single Fortnight (featuring Post Malone) at 8pm ET (1am UK time). She already released a teaser and fans can hardly wait.

And if that still wasn’t enough, big listening parties for the new album are being held in London and Manchester, where you can join other Swifties to discover all the references.

Taylor is a big fan of surprises so who knows what she has in mind next!

All poets and celebrities named in the Department of Tortured Poets

There are a lot of Easter eggs in Swiftieland these days, as Taylor has named people like Charlie Puth and Patti Smith.

The album also includes a poem written by Fleetwood’s Stevie Nicks, which references a pair of star-crossed lovers.

Swift mentions singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, 32, in the title track, The Tortured Poets Department, with the lyrics: “You smoked and then you ate seven chocolate bars/We declare that Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist.”

Could Taylor be referencing her feud with Kim Kardashian?

The tea keeps spilling and Taylor keeps filling it!

An issue from the Department of Tortured Poets: The Anthology is called thatk you aAMee and it is surely no coincidence that the capital letters spell Kim.

Turns out the song is about a school bully.

The long-running feud between Taylor and Kim began thanks to the singer’s feud with Kanye in 2009, when he stormed the VMA stage when she won Best Female Video.

Things got worse in 2016 when Kanye released his song Famous, which included the lyrics: “I feel like Taylor Swift and I could still have sex / Why?” I made that bitch famous.”

This sparked a social media storm sparked by Kim, who was married to Kanye at the time.

Taylor references exes Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy on new album

There was much speculation about who Taylor would write on her latest album.

In April 2023, her six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn came to an end and she had a brief fling with 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

Fans were quick to speculate about the meaning of her lyrics, although she is now happily in love with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Here MailOnline breaks down who each of its new topics is about. So who references YOUR favorite track?
