A car enthusiast allegedly grabbed a shiny new Tesla in broad daylight, with the incident captured by the electric vehicle’s security camera.
Raymond Edwards, 70, was allegedly seen walking through a car park at Brookside Shopping Center in Mitchelton, north of Brisbane, before taking out his keys.
Footage reportedly shows Edwards weaving through parked cars before appearing to scrape a white BMW and the Tesla.

Brookside Shopping Center manager Greg Plawecki told 7News he was shocked by the alleged strange incident.
“It’s very disappointing, I can’t believe this has happened,” Mr Plawecki said.
The Tesla’s owner said he was offered $2,000 for repair work and added that he was devastated by the alleged incident.
Queensland Police have charged Edwards with two counts of willful damage in two incidents.
The 70-year-old appears to be a car enthusiast and had posted selfies on Facebook of himself in Bathurst alongside luxury vehicles and racing cars.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 11.
