- The Paris performance put his name in the lights
Australian Olympic breakdancing sensation Raygun has addressed rumors that she will be taking part in a reality TV show following her infamous viral performance at the Paris Games.
Rachael Gunn, also known by her nickname Raygun, became a global source of ridicule during the Olympic Games in August.
Dressed in an Australian tracksuit that looked more like a cricket uniform than a breakdancing outfit, Raygun jumped like a kangaroo and slithered across the floor like a snake in a routine that didn’t impress the judges.
Now back in Australia after a holiday in Europe, the dancer appears to be striking while the iron is hot and making the most of her newfound fame.
The embattled breakout has been photographed with stars, showed off a stunning new look on the cover of a magazine and is appearing in several radio interviews.
However, he rules out doing reality shows.
“There were a lot of requests for reality shows,” Raygun told Nova radio.
The 37-year-old was rumored to appear in the jungle on Ten’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but she’s not interested.

The Australian Olympic athlete became a source of global ridicule during the Paris Olympics.
“As someone who went viral for his performance at the Olympics, I think I have a very memorable face, it’s very expressive,” he said.
“And I feel like appearing on a reality show… I feel like going on a reality show is not the right decision.”
The unlikely Australian icon admits his world has been turned upside down since he rose to fame.
“It’s been very difficult to process,” he told Stellar magazine.
‘My whole world has changed. My identity has changed. My relationships have changed, for better or worse.
“Unfortunately, it’s times like these you find out who your real friends are. And because things are still changing, it’s simply impossible to understand.
‘It’s hard to predict what it will be like when I leave home.
Raygun admits he has received many offers to do reality TV since the Paris Olympics, but will not be appearing on shows such as I’m a Celebrity.

‘It’s still a process because I have to prioritize my own health.
“I talk to my family when I can, but it’s hard for me to know the toll it has taken on them because I think it will take its toll on me.”
Plus, she recently received a new honor in the front gardens of Australian homes, with handmade tributes to her routine erected for Halloween.
Many Australians also dressed up as Raygun for Halloween, including Matilda Cortnee Vine.
Meanwhile, Raygun revealed his own encounter with a fan who was dressed in his iconic costume to go trick-or-treating.
“I was coming home from the shops and I saw someone dressed like me trick-or-treating,” she told The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick.
“I rolled down the window and said, ‘I love your costume,’ and they were stunned!
