She sported a radiant coat of makeup and added a pop of color with a bright, bold red lip.

Raye, whose real name is Rachel, recently revealed she felt “liberated” after opening up about her body confidence issues in her new single Genesis.

The former BRIT school student details her body dysmorphia in the tune, in which she also admits to editing her social media snaps.

The lyrics include: “Yes, I edit my photos to make my waist look slimmer / And I make my butt look bigger so I’m someone you aspire to / Let me enter your algorithm, please.”

Speaking about her decision to open up, Raye shared on the Capital XTRA late night show with Kamilla Rose: “I just wanted to be very transparent and very open about it.

‘And we all think these things and we are all struggling with these things in our heads. And I’ll be the first to say who I am now, so I posted this song.”

Raye continued, “But you know, I’ll take a photo and say, ‘Oh, it would look better if they sucked me in a little more,’ or ‘if my jaw looked a little less square at this angle.'” you know?

“It’s just insecurities that we all feel about ourselves and things like that, so I think it’s also quite liberating to be so open about it.

‘Because then it’s like, “yeah, sometimes I edit my photos, and…?” You know what I mean? It feels good to say it.’

Raye released the seven-minute track Genesis in early June, explaining that the tune came in three acts that she describes as “a prayer, a plea and a cry for help.”

Raye has been open about her mental health and made a powerful statement last year when she stripped down to her underwear in the middle of the show.

He was on stage at the Royal Albert Hall for the recording of a live album when he began taking off his clothes during a performance of his hit, Body Dysmorphia.

She has spoken candidly about her battle with this mental health condition, where one worries intensely about one’s appearance.
