I had the honor of speaking at the launch of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club (RREC) anniversary tome, ‘120 Years of Rolls-Royce’, published by St James’s House (SJH), to which I also made a modest contribution, at Grosvenor House on London’s Pall Mall.

RREC members were subsequently part of a strong motor industry contingent that attended the London Press Club Ball held at the same venue, where publishing and events company SJH were the main sponsors.

One of the highlights of the ball was presenting former MailOnline executive editor Ian Walker with the prestigious honor of Journalist Laureate.

The ball also raised £25,000 for good causes linked to journalism.
