Actress Mary Mara has died aged 61 after reportedly drowning in a river.
New York state police say the Ray Donovan actress died while diving in the St. Lawrence River, according to TMZ†
She was discovered on Sunday in the town of Cape Vincent.

Her body was found in the water around 8am by troopers after receiving a call for a possible drowning.
According to officials, she had entered the river for exercise while visiting her sister.
No signs of malicious intent were found during a preliminary investigation. An autopsy will be performed at the Jefferson County medical examiner’s office.
Mara has had an extensive career in Hollywood with 81 credits to her name on IMDb.

She played Loretta Sweet in nine episodes of ER, from 1995 to 1996.
Mara also played Susan in the Billy Crystal movie Mr. Saturday Night from 1992.
Over the years she had roles in Nip/Tuck, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Star Trek: Enterprise and The Practice.
In 2013, she played Mrs. Sullivan in Ray Donovan and Nance in Shameless.
Her last credit was a role in the 2020 film Break Even.
