The woman involved in the car crash suspected to involve Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has started a $20,000 fundraiser in hopes of purchasing a new car and covering damages caused by the crash. which involved one of his children.
Kayla Quinn, a 27-year-old single mother of two, created her own GoFundMe page on Monday, two days after his vehicle, a white Hyundai Accent, was totaled by Rice’s Corvette and a Lamborghini in Dallas, Texas.
She shared: ‘Like many of you Dallas Ft. locals worth knowing, my (sic) 4 year old son and I were the first to be hit by two people speeding on Highway 75 on Saturday, March 30, 2024 and fled the scene. Therefore, I do not have any information to contact your insurance to get transportation to work or my children.
“I’m not sure if any of you have seen the video, but I thought I lost my life and my children during the impact.”
Quinn, who lives in the Dallas suburb of Plano, added that she is grateful to have survived the accident along with her preschool-aged son.

Footage has emerged showing the aftermath of the crash involving Rashee Rice’s car in Dallas.
Rice is suspected of driving a Corvette that crashed into Quinn’s Hyundai by Dallas police.
Recalling the incident, which she described as a “horrible” experience, she wrote in the description of her fundraiser that “God managed to save our lives and I am so grateful.” My son and I are alive to tell the story and again I am grateful….
‘At this point I need help. My car was totaled and I need funds (sic) to buy a new vehicle and I need your help. All donations are greatly appreciated.”
As of Monday night, $155 has been raised toward Quinn’s five-figure goal, making it the largest donation of $100 so far.
Rice, on the other hand, is cooperating with local police, according to his attorney, as authorities suspect he fled the scene after crashing his Corvette into Quinn’s Hyundai.
Quinn also claims that the five men who crashed into her showed “no sympathy” before driving away from the scene.
Rice played in the Chiefs’ second consecutive Super Bowl victory in February against San Francisco.
Rice, 23, helped the Chiefs win a second straight Super Bowl in February. He has ties to Texas as he played high school football in North Richland Hills before representing SMU in college.
Dashboard camera footage from Saturday’s crash shows a Lamborghini and a Corvette speeding and colliding with Quinn’s Hyundai on the North Central Expressway, pushing the cars to the other side of the road.
The Dallas Morning News He also cited a witness who said he saw one of the men remove “guns and bags from the vehicles” before leaving the scene.
The incident is believed to have occurred at 6:20 pm local time. The Lamborghini is believed to have crashed into the median wall, causing “a pile-up involving four other vehicles”, before the culprits fled the scene.
