The rarely seen 61-year-old showed off a very muscular physique in his white t-shirt paired with grunge black cargo pants.
The designer accessorized with a pair of sturdy black sneakers, a matching cap, and a black strap watch.
He was seen carrying a bag of groceries back to his car, with a fanny pack strapped to his right shoulder.
The fashion designer, famous for his womenswear, also made a name for himself on television as a judge on Australia’s Next Top Model and a mentor on Project Runway.

Alex was last seen publicly in October flaunting his new physique while stepping out at the AusFitness Expo in Sydney.
The renowned designer looked surprisingly more muscular as he posed with two models at the exhibition.
Alex often works out with personal trainer and bodybuilder Simon Di Natale at City Gym in Darlinghurst, Sydney.
The designer previously said his gym work was as much for his mental state as it was for his physical well-being.
She told SBS: “Going to the gym and working out keeps me in peak physical and mental condition for anything I face in the fashion industry.”
‘After the first year of going to the gym I grew to hate it and had to drag myself there, but now I really enjoy it.
“It stresses me out less and then I can go home and feel normal.”
Greek-Australian fashion icon Alex, real name Alexandros Pertsinidis, has been married to his wife Mary for more than three decades.
With car keys in hand, the TV presenter accessorized with a pair of sturdy black sneakers while balancing a matching cap on his head.

Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald about their successful marriage, Alex said Mary was a driving force in establishing his multi-million dollar fashion empire.
‘She is methodical and likes to plan. I make decisions in an instant and follow my instincts.’
Alex’s instincts sometimes led their marriage into dangerous territory, especially when he made risky career decisions without first consulting with Mary.
“I don’t know how he didn’t kick me out,” he confessed.
