Rapper MoneySign Suede has been found dead from an apparent stabbing attack while in prison, according to The Guardian. TMZ.
The Los Angeles-based rising rapper is buried at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, California.
Prison officials told the newspaper that they are investigating MoneySign Suede’s death as a homicide.
The rapper (born Jaime Brugada Valdez) was reported to be bent on losing him after doing an adult count on Tuesday night around 9:55 p.m.
Sources said the rapper was later found in another part of the prison, where CPR was allegedly attempted.

However, he was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at 10:20 p.m
Since his death, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has announced that the prison is restricting movement of prisoners.
The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office is now conducting an investigation into the rapper’s death, while the Monterey County Coroner is working to determine the cause of his death.
while talking to Los Angeles TimesMoneySign Suede’s attorney, Nicholas Rosenberg, said he was told his client had been stabbed in the neck while showering.
A prisoner who spoke to the newspaper anonymously indicated that the rapper was discovered in a part of the prison that held general population prisoners.
This is unusual, he said, because rappers are usually housed in the sensitive needs yard, which is reserved for prisoners who have special safety concerns or have public profiles.
However, the rapper was in the early stages of his career, so it is unclear if his profile is high enough to warrant this kind of protection.

However, he had already pleaded guilty to the charge and was expected to receive a two-year prison sentence which he would likely serve concurrently with his previous sentence.
He had surrendered in December last year.
