Rapper FBG Cash, 31, ‘is shot dead and a woman, 29, wounded during drive-by shooting in Chicago’
Chicago rapper FBG Cash has reportedly died after an early morning shooting that seriously injured another.
FBG Cash, formally known as Tristian Hamilton, 31, and another woman, 29, were gunned down around 5:30 a.m. Friday in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood of Chicago. His body was reportedly riddled with many gunshot wounds.
Chicago police said the two victims were in a car on West 81st Street when another vehicle stopped next to them and fired several shots into their car.
They were rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where Hamilton was pronounced dead CBS News†
The woman, whose name is unknown, suffered gunshot wounds to her left arm and upper back. She is reportedly in critical condition.

The rapper’s body was riddled with several gunshot wounds and he was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
He was shot on West 81st Street in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood of Chicago. He and the 29-year-old he was with were apparently just driving around. The woman, who suffered gunshot wounds to her arm and back, was reportedly asleep. She is now in critical condition
The gunman allegedly fled west and is still at large, police said.
The couple had reportedly been driving around and the woman was sleeping in the car when the gunman arrived, the Chicago Sun Times reported.
Hamilton was shot for nearly 12 hours before his latest song Crazy Lane was set to debut at 4 p.m. Many fans have already taken to the comment section to express their condolences.
Hamilton was also part of the ‘Fly Boy Gang’.
In 2020, another member, FBG Duck, formally known as Carlton Weekly, was shot dead in broad daylight by four masked gunmen, leaving 38 shell casings behind.
The gunmen jumped from two cars on a busy Gold Coast street and opened fire. FBG Duck was reportedly shopping for his son’s birthday present.
Five members of the infamous Chicago O-Block street gang were arrested for the crime in October 2021 after investigators used social media and rap videos to solve the case.

Marcus Smart, 22, Charles Liggines, 30, Kenneth Robertson, 28, Tacarlos Offered, 30, and Christopher Thomas, 22 were charged under the federal RICO law, which was originally created to help law enforcement dismantle the mafia. ABC 7 Chicago reported at the time.
Investigators and city officials allege the rapper was a gang member whose bragging rights about music videos annoyed members of a rival gang, ABC 7 Chicago reports.
The majority of Fly Boy Gang’s music group are Gangster Disciples, according to the website HipHopDatabase† The Disciples are engaged in a violent and bloody war with O-Block’s Black Disciples gang, which includes prominent rappers such as Chief Keef and the late King Von.

Authorities claim that FBG Duck’s murder was motivated by a gang war.
At one point, there were rumors that Hamilton was involved in Weekly’s death, but he denied any wrongdoing.
Hamilton was previously behind bars for gun possession and was arrested last year for allegedly carrying a gun after he stopped for driving erratically.
He was charged with being a common criminal and felony possession of a weapon. The case was later dropped.
