British YouTuber and musician Yung Filly, accused of raping and suffocating a woman in a Perth hotel room, has briefly faced court to change his temporary address.
Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, 29, returned to Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday for a bail variation, which was granted.
The change in his address details was not read out in court, but a Western Australian Police prosecutor said it “did not seem to raise any flags at this time”.
The artist is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s after a performance on October 5.
He was arrested in Brisbane and extradited to Perth, where he made his first court appearance on October 10.
The London rapper, who has 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube and millions of followers on Instagram and TikTok, faces a series of charges.
These include four counts of sexual penetration without consent and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is also accused of impeding the woman’s breathing or circulation by applying pressure to her neck.

Barrientos, who has not pleaded guilty, could be forced to remain in WA for several years while he awaits trial.
He did not speak to the waiting media as he left the court building Wednesday.
Dressed in a cream and white hoodie, gray pants and white sneakers, he blew a kiss to a small group of screaming fans.

Barrientos’ strict bail conditions include surrendering his passport, providing a $100,000 bond and reporting to police seven days a week.

He has also appeared on numerous television shows, including the BBC’s Hot Property, which he presented in 2018.
