A father accused of sexually abusing a small girl that he reportedly has been kidnapped from a shop in Kmart has been convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol and graffiti.
Sterling Mervyn Free, 26, is accused of luring a seven-year-old girl from Kmart's toy course in Westfield North Lakes, north of Brisbane, on Saturday afternoon.
Friday was arrested and accused of assault, taking a child for immoral purposes and depriving of liberty.
Only 18 months earlier, Free was caught driving under the influence while he was on his P-plate license.
Court documents that saw Daily Mail Australia revealed how Free on February 27 last year at 3.52 hours in his hometown Morayfield performed a random breath test.
