- Ralf Schumacher’s ex-wife accused him of lying in a television interview
- Ralf previously received a lot of support after coming out as gay in July.
- Cora Schumacher has been caught in an ongoing dispute with her ex-husband.
The dispute between Ralf Schumacher and his ex-wife has taken a new turn after the brother of Formula One legend Michael Schumacher was accused of lying in a television interview after previously coming out as gay.
Former Williams driver Ralf announced in July that he was in love with his French business manager, Etienne Bousquet-Cassagne.
Immediately after the announcement, Schumacher, 49, received a flood of positive messages, including from his close friend, German actress Carmen Geiss.
However, the news sparked a war of words between Schumacher and his ex-wife, Cora, who has now accused him of lying in a television interview where he claimed she had blocked his number and social media profiles.
Cora Schumacher is now seeking further clarification on her ex-husband’s claim and has ordered her legal team to send a letter to Ralf’s lawyers claiming the accusation is false, it has been reported. BILD.

Cora’s legal team (pictured) reportedly sent a letter to Ralf’s lawyers accusing him of lying during a TV interview.
According to BILD, the legal document sent by Cora’s team says: ‘You (Ralf Schumacher, editor’s note) claim that you wanted to clarify the matter with our client, and even more: that you tried to do so.
‘An attempt that failed (unilaterally) because our client ‘blocked’ you on her social media accounts and on her cell phone. This is false in several respects.”
The report further alleges that Cora only blocked Ralf on Whatsapp and her ex-husband can still contact her via phone call or text message.
The legal letter continues: ‘You (Ralf Schumacher) know very well the telephone numbers and email addresses of our clients. The same goes for Étienne (his partner), who even called our client after they went out together.
It has also been suggested that Cora would be willing to have a phone conversation with Ralf to end the ugly war of words that has broken out since her reveal.

The couple had been married for 14 years before their separation in 2005.
Cora previously hit back at the former F1 driver amid their ongoing feud after she claimed she “wasted her best years” with him after he came out as gay.
The couple had been married for 14 years and had a son, David, before separating in 2015.
Initially reacting to the news, Cora had insisted that she “felt used” by Ralf, who then responded by leaking WhatsApp messages showing her congratulating Etienne on their union.
There were also fears from within the Schumacher camp that Cora could reveal the top-secret state of Ralf’s brother Michael’s health as the seven-time F1 legend continues to be treated after a life-changing ski accident.
