The Raiders have already rekindled their bitter rivalry with the Chiefs.
A Las Vegas football fan handed Trey Taylor a Kermit the Frog doll at training camp Thursday, and the defender proceeded to parade the Muppet character around.
The Kermit doll was dressed in Mahomes’ jersey, and even sported a head of curly brown locks that resembled the star quarterback’s hair.
In a viral clip, Taylor held the puppet up to the camera and moved its mouth, saying “I’m Patrick” in a high-pitched voice.
The three-time Super Bowl winner’s voice has long been compared to that of the iconic TV personality, who speaks in a raspy tone.

Although Mahomes did not publicly address the issue, his personal trainer, Bobby Stroupe, shared a threatening three-word X response.
“We will remember,” he tweeted.
The 28-year-old has been asked about Kermit comparisons throughout his career, and was even asked to do an impression ahead of the Super Bowl in February.
“I’m talking right now, that’s all,” Mahomes said at a news conference.
He previously told reporters that “people have been making fun of him” all his life.
“I’ve gotten used to it, it’s like the joke that keeps repeating itself. I’ve heard it all, jokes about Kermit the Frog or about smoking cigarettes,” he said.
“It’s unique, so maybe I’ll get a contract for having that unique voice.”
Kansas City suffered an upset at the hands of the Raiders on Christmas Day last year, however, Mahomes’ team ultimately got the last laugh when it won its second straight Super Bowl.
The rivals will meet for the first time in 2024 in Las Vegas for a Week 8 matchup.
Mahomes, 28, has been asked about comparisons to Kermit throughout his career.
