An irate gunman killed three people in a deadly series of shootings and arson before dying in his burning truck following a firefighter with police in Washington on Wednesday.

The unidentified suspect was discovered on Wednesday in West Richland after he raged over nearby Finley and Kennewick in the early morning hours, shooting and setting buildings on fire.

Four officers were involved in a shootout with the truck driver. The vehicle somehow burst into flames and heard ammunition exploding from inside.

The gunman’s burnt body was later found in the vehicle.

He previously had grandfather Emil Robert “Bob” Zlatich Jr. murdered in Finley and left his son, also Emil Robert Zlatich, wounded.

Two other victims have also died in Kennewick after the suspected union buildings burned down KEPR.

The suspect's truck was later found in West Richland.  Police say shots were fired from the car.  Kennewick Police Capt.  Aaron Clem said four officers at the scene fired their weapons into the vehicle.

Police rushed to reports of shootings and fires in Finley shortly before 4 a.m. and discovered two houses in flames.

The suspect then started more fires in Benton County and carried out arson attacks at International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union facilities in Kennewick.

Two more bodies were later found in Kennewick, which police believe are related to the earlier murder.

The suspect’s truck was later found in West Richland, where a gunfight broke out between the suspect and four officers who fired at his car.

A fire broke out in the pick-up and live ammunition could be heard inside.

The body of an unknown person was later recovered from the burnt car.

The investigation continues.
