Radio presenter Kyle Sandilands has issued a stark warning about drugs to celebrities ahead of Sunday’s 2024 Logie Awards.

Speaking on his Kyle and Jackie O show on Friday, tabloid broadcaster and co-presenter Jackie O Henderson was chatting to Logies presenter Sam Pang when Kyle admitted to a disappointing drugs-related faux pas.

His warning focused on mixing up a saddie (a colloquial term for a ziplock bag used to store drugs) and the small bags containing spare buttons, often found in suit pockets.

Kyle said the confusion could end in nothing but disappointment for awards show attendees.

“I’m left with a little bit of sadness and then at the end of the night you take it out and you’re like, ‘Oh, it’s all over,'” Kyle began.

‘Take out your sadness and it’s the damn bag with the suit button.’

“There’s no more disappointing look on a man’s face when you think you’ve got a sad little bag in there and it’s the damn bag of buttons,” she added.

Sam responded, suggesting that Kyle’s party game left a little to be desired.

“That was amateur hour on your part, Kyle,” he said.

“You have suits tailored, just get them tailored,” Sam added after Kyle admitted it wasn’t a mistake he’d made for a while.

“Yeah, you’re right. Problem solved,” Kyle concluded.

The admission comes after Kyle admitted on Thursday to getting drunk for the first time in a decade and the effect it had on his two-year-old son Otto.

A clip, shared on Kyle and Jackie O’s Instagram on Thursday, showed a very joyful Kyle dancing in his living room in front of the toddler.

'I have a little ziplock bag left to store drugs in and then at the end of the night you pull it out and think: "Oh, it's all gone"', Kyle told Logies host Sam Pang on Friday's Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“I’ve got a bit of saddie left and then at the end of the night you pull it out and you’re like, ‘oh, it’s all gone,'” Kyle told Logies host Sam Pang on Friday’s Kyle and Jackie O Show.

In the video, Kyle sang both parts of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s iconic hit, Islands In The Stream.

Getting into character as Dolly, Kyle had his wife Tegan Kynaston’s black fur coat wrapped around her head to simulate Dolly’s voluminous locks.

Meanwhile, Otto, though initially into the spirit of the moment, could only stare, bewildered, at Dad as he waddled around the room, before running off.

Commenting on Kyle’s performance under the influence, Jackie O, 49, asked Kyle how long he had been sober.

—So how long has it been since you got a little drunk? — Jackie asked.

“Probably more than a decade,” Kyle replied.

Kyle admitted he didn’t even enjoy a drink at his April 2023 wedding to Teagan, 38.

News anchor Brooklyn Ross then chimed in with his own assessment of the performance.

“You can see the expression on Otto’s face,” she said. “It’s like when you realize your father is not the man you thought he was.”
