Radio host Charlemagne Tha God has slammed the Dalai Lama after a video went viral that showed him kissing a young boy on the lips before telling him to suck his tongue.
On the latest episode of The Breakfast Club featuring Charlemagne, DJ Envy, and comedian Aida Rodriguez, the trio addressed the spiritual leader of Tibet and his inappropriate gesture that happened at a Dharamshala temple in India in February.
The viral clip showed the Indian boy asking the Dalai Lama, 87, for a hug, which eventually led to a kiss and tongue sucking.
“Don’t they have child services in Tibet?” Charlemagne said.
Rodriguez added, “I guarantee you he probably does when the cameras are off, you know?”

The Dalai Lama apologized shortly after the video emerged and dismissed the disturbing interaction as “hilarious”.
His Holiness often teases the people he encounters in an innocent and hilarious manner, even in public and in front of cameras. A statement posted on his Instagram account said he regretted the incident.
During his podcast, Charlemagne dismisses the Dalai Lama’s apology and his loyal followers insist his gestures were “cultural.”
