Prosecutors have demanded 12 months in jail and 100 hours of community service for a University of Kentucky student who attacked staff and police officers during a prolonged tirade of racist abuse.
Sophia Rosing, 23, a former business and marketing student, called a young receptionist the N-word 200 times as she staggered drunkenly to her dorm room in November 2022.
She continued to scream at him as the police took her away, biting her, kicking her, and informing her of her “wealth” as they tried to restrain her.
He pleaded guilty Monday to six charges, including four counts of assault, after they were amended to fourth-degree misdemeanor battery as part of a plea deal.
“I told him he didn’t break my spirit,” receptionist Kylah Spring said after the hearing. “That was one of the things I said when I first spoke about what happened and it’s still true today.”

Rosing pleaded not guilty at an initial hearing with his attorney Fred Peter in November 2022.
He had returned to campus in Lexington, Kentucky, after a night of drinking before lashing out at Spring, who was in charge of the front desk.
Some students tried to intervene and others pulled out their phones to record the 10-minute tirade during which she hit Spring, told her to “do her homework” and repeatedly called her an “ugly black bitch.”
When University of Kentucky police officers arrived to arrest her at 4 a.m., she told them she was getting “special treatment” because she had “a lot of money” and refused to identify herself to officers as they booked her into jail.
The university suspended her within hours of the incident and permanently banned her from campus three days later.
It later emerged that he allegedly revealed the personal information of a 15-year-old girl while they were in high school together, posting that he would “send nude photos” and falsely claiming she had had an abortion.
Spring gave an impassioned speech at an anti-racism march the day after the incident.
The college freshman became emotional as she addressed the dozens of people who attended the march in her honor. She told the crowd, “I was physically, verbally, and racially attacked by Jane Doe, also known as Sophia Rosing.
She was arrested in the early hours of Nov. 6 after she staggered into campus dormitories in Lexington, Kentucky, before lunging at Spring, who was working the front desk.
Spring met Rosing after the incident as part of the court mediation service, but was not convinced of her attacker’s remorse.

A year before the vile racist incident, Rosing had boasted to his fellow students: “I’m rich as fuck and you guys obviously aren’t.”
But DailyMail.com can reveal she grew up in a modest three-bedroom, two-bathroom family property in Fort Mitchell with her parents and siblings.
Rosing’s attorney, Fred Peters, said Lex18 that his client has since stopped drinking.
“She is extremely remorseful,” he added.
‘He has had a lot of time to think about what he has done and has written a nice letter of apology.
But Spring said Rosing did not address his behavior in court and she remains unconvinced of his remorse.

“I think a person who feels remorse takes steps to help them demonstrate it,” she said. “Not just words.”
‘I think the fact that she admits at least some of what she’s done, that she admits the things that she said and that she can take responsibility for them, I think that’s something that will come later.
“It’s not easy to see you act like that, I guess, so he still has to mature and analyze a little bit more. So I’ll give him the space to do that.”
“I forgive her more for myself,” she added.
‘I was raised not to hold grudges, I was raised to forgive people because God forgave us.’
Rosing is due back in Fayette County Circuit Court on Oct. 17 for sentencing.
