Rachel McAdams wore a chic, familiar ensemble as she arrived at Good Morning America in New York on Monday.
The Mean Girls actress, 45, channeled Trinity from The Matrix while stepping out in the Big Apple ahead of her appearance on the morning show.
She worked a brown leather turtleneck top and matching skirt with a thigh-high slit along with a pair of bold jet black shades, a look that aligned with Trinity’s style.
Rachel, making her Broadway debut in Mary Jane, beamed as she got out of her car and looked absolutely radiant for her press day.
She dazzled with a head full of loose waves and a polished complexion made up of blush and lipstick.

Once inside the studio, Rachel talked about her Broadway debut in Mary Jane.
Manhattan Theater Club’s play Mary Jane follows a single mother of a young child with cerebral palsy.
The story revolves around her and her relationship with her unlikely support system of women, including the building’s superintendent, a Buddhist nun, and a Facebook friend, as they look out for each other during the struggles.
The work opened on April 23 and will continue until June 16.
‘Mary Jane’ is a play about a single mother who lives in Jackson Heights, New York, and is raising her little Alex, who is (2 and a half years old) and has very special needs that need a lot of help. ,’ she said Good morning america.
‘It’s about the town she finds that helps her raise her son and keeps her alive. She is a truly amazing and resilient woman who finds joy in all aspects of her life, especially with her son.’
McAdams, who plays a nurse, was attached to the role long before she was cast.

McAdams smiled as he exited the vehicle.
“My mother was a nurse, so I got a little taste of what it’s like to be a healthcare worker and care deeply, and to be caught up in a system that maybe doesn’t always support the best care,” she said.
‘It’s really rewarding though. He is an incredible character. I love going out every night and finding something new with my amazing co-stars.”
After a special presentation of the work earlier this month, he said People: ‘I feel very honored to be here.’
“Broadway was something I had always wanted to do but was very intimidated by. So being on that stage is like fulfilling an old dream.”

Rachel explained that she still gets nervous despite the preparation, but that she “embraces” a healthy amount to help make her performance “more vibrant.”
“I’m less nervous now, but they’re still there,” she explained.
“I still get nervous every night,” she added. ‘And that’s good! We know there’s a certain amount of nerves that are good and propel you forward and just make the performance that much more vibrant, so it’s better to keep some of them.
‘I’m hugging my nerves! It’s just new, right? It’s like starting a new job: you’re always nervous the first day, no matter what it is, and then you realize it,” she continued. “I feel like I’m finding my feet.”
