The actor, 44, who plays a sexy rabbi on the show alongside Kristen Bell, has been praised by fans who have spoken openly about his positive interactions with the star, and Bilson, 43, echoes your feelings.

Bilson and Brody dated for three years while playing a television couple on the hit drama The OC. Brody is now married to Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, and the couple share two children.

Although she hasn’t seen the 10-episode first season, Bilson hopes to join the millions of viewers who have fallen in love with the series about a rabbi, Noah, who falls in love with a non-religious podcast host, Joanne, played by Campana, 44 .

“I heard everyone loves it and I couldn’t be more excited because I literally love Kristen and Adam and they’re like my people,” she said.

“So I’m really excited about this and excited for them.”

The Barely Famous actress converted to Judaism before marrying her husband, entertainment executive Simon Tikhman. They are now parents of a five-month-old daughter.

He said Bell’s character, Joanne, “doesn’t have to have the same journey as me.”

However, audiences don’t need to worry much about the twists and turns of Joanne and Noah’s relationship.

“I don’t think this is the kind of show that robs the audience of what they want to see,” he hinted. “I think this is a program where you want to get what you want.”
